US105 - Cap on Military Contractor Profit
Profit by military contractors should be fixed/bounded to eliminate conflict of interest in having more war

Description
Military contractors, like Halliburton, make a lot more money when there's war. If we cap their profits, we won't have to worry about another Dick Cheney making big bucks for his friends through venturesome war.

Have been thinking about this one a lot lately. I believe that for any entity that signs a contract with the government, the people who work for that entity should be paid the same as an equivalent federal worker, no more. Why should we, the taxpayers, pay for the military-industrial executives absurdly lavish lifestyles while we are all just trying to have enough gas in the car to get the kids to school, get groceries, and get to our jobs (if we are lucky enough to have one)?

There is no logic behind paying such extravagant salaries to those who wish to continue the killing of 'others.' It is truly immoral.

The cap should be $0. No more pirates, no more mercenaries.

America doesn't go to war for the sake of killing. We go to war to protect our country, our freedom, and our rights!

Businesses have a right to do business as usual and our economy benefits as well. Without contractors such as these can you imagine what unemployment will be? OMG!!!

I don't understand. Are you saying that Halliburton contracts the US military to protect their pipelines? check out http://pipelines.curry.com/ then http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RC1Mepk_Sw Or are you suggesting that Halliburton has a military (Blackwater) and the US government contracts them to fight wars?
