US47 - Repeal Voter ID Laws
Many states have laws requiring voters to present identification before voting. These laws should be repealed because they make it too difficult to vote.
This extra measure is another way big Government attacking Democracy disguised as a method of preventing voter fraud. However, only ten people have been reported committing voter fraud since 2000.
Every American citizen is entitled to their say on what the Government should does. Otherwise, it is not a Government for the people or by the people.
Voter identification laws make it difficult for certain groups to vote, including poor and urban voters. These groups are less likely to vote anyway, and so they should be encouraged rather than discouraged from voting.
Only legal citizens who have registered to vote are allowed to vote. In areas with high populations of illegal aliens, how can we be sure that each person coming to vote is a legal citizen?
Don't most people already carry their ID on them anyways?
