USTX10 - Insurance Coverage for Mental Health
Mental health services and medical services should receive equal coverage from insurance companies

Description

Most insurance companies do not cover mental health services in the same way they cover medical visits. In fact some insurance companies do not even provide coverage for mental health to their clients. Clients wanting mental health coverage need to invest in a separate mental health carrier which means they have two separate insurance cards. This scenario is both impractical and unrealistic for the average American to obtain and afford. We need to actively promote the equality for mental health treatment by (1) All insurance providers should cover mental health (2) The same amount of visits are covered for mental health services as they are for medical visits.

Medical services are mostly disservices that do much more harm than good. Real health insurance would insure alternative health care, which is effective, and isn't controlled much by drug companies and other big corporations.

See http://mercola.com and http://drugawareness.org etc.
